We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, billing information, account information, order history, customer-support communications, marketing preferences, and information you voluntarily provide when using our services.

When you make a purchase, payment information may be collected and processed by third-party payment processors. GOAT Audio does not necessarily receive or store your complete payment-card information.

We may also automatically collect certain technical information when you use our websites or services, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, session information, and information about how you interact with our services.

If you create a GOAT Audio account, we may store information necessary to maintain your account and provide services, including your contact information, purchases, downloads, licenses, subscriptions, saved preferences, and account activity.

This information may be used to authenticate your account, provide access to purchased products, maintain licensing records, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and improve our services.

When you purchase a product or service, we collect information necessary to process and maintain the transaction.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other payment services made available through our websites.

Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

GOAT Audio may retain transaction information such as your name, email address, order number, products purchased, transaction status, price, date, and applicable license information.

We may allow customers to create or access accounts using third-party authentication services, such as Google, Facebook, Apple, or other providers.

When you choose to use one of these services, we may receive limited account information from that provider, such as your name, email address, account identifier, or profile information, depending upon the permissions you authorize.

We do not receive your password for the third-party service.

  • Protect GOAT Audio, our customers, creators, licensors, and partners.

Audio Cue may collect information about music searches, previews, downloads, licenses, favorites, playlists, categories, genres, moods, and other interactions with the Audio Cue service.

We may use this information to operate the service, maintain licensing records, improve music discovery, recommend relevant content, analyze usage, and improve our catalog.

Loop Cue may process information relating to music-production libraries, files, metadata, searches, tags, preferences, musical characteristics, and other information necessary to provide Loop Cue functionality.

Depending on the features offered, Loop Cue may analyze characteristics such as tempo, key, chords, instrument type, genre, file type, and other musical metadata.

If future versions of Loop Cue allow customers to import their own content, additional notices or permissions may be provided explaining how uploaded or analyzed content is handled.

We will not claim ownership of a user’s original music merely because the user imports, uploads, organizes, or analyzes it through Loop Cue.

GOAT Audio may use artificial intelligence, machine-learning systems, automated analysis, recommendation technology, and third-party production tools in connection with our products and services.

These technologies may be used for purposes including music production, sound design, metadata generation, search, recommendations, categorization, customer support, fraud prevention, content analysis, mixing, mastering, and service improvement.

Where personal information is processed using a third-party AI or technology provider, information may be subject to that provider’s applicable privacy and data-processing practices.

We will use reasonable efforts to limit personal information shared with third-party technology providers to information appropriate for the applicable service.

GOAT Audio may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics technologies, and similar tools to operate our websites and services.

These technologies may be used to remember account sessions and preferences, maintain shopping carts, understand website traffic, measure advertising effectiveness, prevent fraud, improve performance, and personalize experiences.

Where required by applicable law, users will be provided appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies and tracking technologies.

We may use third-party analytics, advertising, and measurement services to understand how customers interact with GOAT Audio and to measure or improve advertising campaigns.

Depending upon our current marketing configuration, these services may include platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, or similar providers.

These companies may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies.

Where legally required, we will provide users with appropriate controls concerning advertising cookies and certain forms of data sharing.

Customers may receive transactional emails concerning purchases, downloads, licenses, security, accounts, subscriptions, or important service changes.

Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional emails regarding new products, discounts, releases, Audio Cue content, Loop Cue features, or other GOAT Audio services.

Marketing communications will provide a method to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or account-related communications.

We may share personal information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business.

These providers may include payment processors, website-hosting providers, cloud infrastructure providers, email-delivery services, analytics providers, customer-support platforms, authentication providers, fraud-prevention services, content-delivery networks, developers, professional advisers, and other technology providers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or infringement, respond to lawful legal process, protect our rights or users, or address security threats.

If GOAT Audio or substantially all of its relevant business assets are acquired, merged, reorganized, financed, or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

GOAT Audio does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Certain advertising or analytics activities may nevertheless constitute “sharing,” “selling,” or targeted advertising under particular privacy laws even when no money is exchanged for personal information.

Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of those activities, GOAT Audio will provide an appropriate method for exercising that right.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including maintaining customer accounts, providing downloads and licenses, processing transactions, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, complying with legal and tax requirements, and enforcing our agreements.

Some purchase and licensing records may need to be retained after an account is closed because they document commercial licenses previously granted.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission, website, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should contact us promptly if they believe their account has been compromised.

California residents may have rights regarding their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), subject to applicable exemptions.

Depending upon the circumstances, these rights may include the right to request access to or information about personal information we collect, request correction, request deletion, obtain certain information in a portable format, and opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.

GOAT Audio will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer for exercising applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. Where such laws apply to GOAT Audio, we will honor qualifying requests regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, and other applicable rights.

GOAT Audio may be accessible internationally.

If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where GOAT Audio or our service providers operate.

Where required, we will implement appropriate mechanisms for international transfers of personal information.

GOAT Audio products and services are not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without legally valid authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

To exercise an applicable privacy right or ask a privacy-related question, contact GOAT Audio through the contact information published on our official website.

Please include enough information for us to identify your account and understand your request.

We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect customer information.

We may update this Privacy Policy as GOAT Audio, Audio Cue, Loop Cue, our technology, or applicable laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.

Continued use of our services following an update is subject to the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
